KTVO – Saint Louis Cardinals Tickets Contest Rules

The following rules represent the material terms and conditions of the above named contest. By entering, each entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these contest rules.

1. HOW TO ENTER OR PARTICIPATE
a) No Purchase is necessary.
b) This contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
c) THIS IS AN ON-LINE ENTRY CONTEST ONLY.
d) To enter, log on to the home page of Heartlandconnection.com for the contest link and fill out the entry form. This is a +Contest contest so you get one entry automatically by filling out the form. You can also receive additional entries when you follow us on Facebook and when you share the contest with your friends.
e) No phone calls please.
f) Email address may only be used once to register.

2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS
a) This contest is open to residents of Iowa and Missouri only
b) Entrants must be 18 years or older to enter
c) Employees of Barrington Broadcasting LLC,  participating sponsor(s), their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, suppliers and their advertising and production agencies (collectively, "the Sponsor(s)")  and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouse) and households of each such employee are not eligible to participate or win a prize.

3. ENTRY DEADLINE DATES
a) To be eligible, all online entries must be submitted to and received by KTVO-TV through the on-line entry form on Heartlandconnection.com starting Monday, May 14, 2012 at 6 a.m. CDT through Sunday, May 20, 2012 at 5 pm CDT

4. CONTEST PRIZE DESCRIPTION(S) AND ESTIMATED VALUATION(S)
a) The prize package includes two (2) tickets to the Cardinals vs the Phillies baseball game in St. Louis on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 6:15 pm
Face value of each ticket is $68.00.
b) The winner is solely responsible for any and all taxes, travel expenses, lodging, and/or fees associated with accepting the prize package.
c) Prize may not be exchanged
d) Sponsor(s) make no warranties and disclaim all warranties, guarantees, or representations, express or implied, concerning the condition, quality, or merchantability, or any prize.

5. SELECTION OF WINNER(S)
a) At the conclusion of the entry deadline, a station representative will draw one (1) winner selected at random from all valid online entry forms to win the prize package.
b) The winner will be notified by KTVO of their selection using the contact information provided by the entrant on the entry form and prize pick-up will be arranged.

6. OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
a) Entries must be complete and legible in order to qualify.  Entries will be void if they are in whole or in part incomplete, illegible, irregular or otherwise questionable at the discretion of the Sponsor(s).
b) Multiple uses of a single email address to enter will not be accepted.
c) All entries become the property of the Sponsor(s), who reserve the right to use any or all information submitted by entrants for the Sponsor’s marketing or promotional purposes, unless the entrant chooses to opt out. The entries will not be sold by Sponsor(s) to any other party for any other purpose. (make sure entry form offers option to opt out)
d) Winner agrees to the use of his/her name and likeness, without any compensation, by sponsor(s) for publicity.  By entering this contest, the winner acknowledges that KTVO-TV, and all other sponsor(s) and venues have the right to publicize his/her name, voice and likeness, the fact that he/she won, and all matters incidental thereto.
e) Winner is solely responsible for any and all local, state and federal income taxes incurred by his/her/their participation in the contest.
f) Winner(s) accept sole responsibility for claiming the prize and picking it up from the Sponsor(s). Prizes unclaimed within 30 days of award shall be forfeited, and KTVO-TV shall have no further obligation to the winner(s). If the prize is forfeited, KTVO-TV reserves the right to select an alternative winner of the prize.
g) By entering this contest, participants agree that Sponsor(s), their employees, and their agents have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind which result from use of the prize, or by participation in the contest.  Sponsor(s) make no warranties and disclaim all warranties, guarantees, or representations, express or implied, concerning the condition, quality, or merchantability, or any prize.  Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.  No substitutions are permitted.
h) In the event of a dispute, all decisions made by KTVO-TV are final and binding.
i) Contest Rules are subject to modification by KTVO-TV at any time during this promotion. Station/Sponsor(s) reserve the right to change the prize if necessary.
j) Sponsor(s) further reserves the right, in its/their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate or modify this promotion if, for any reason, the promotion is not capable of completion as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, technical corruption, force majeure or non-authorized human intervention that compromises or affects the administration, fairness, integrity, security or proper conduct of the promotion.
k) Sponsor(s) further reserve the right to continue with the promotion and award the prize(s) even while, in its/their sole discretion, the Sponsor(s) disqualifies any entrant that, in the judgment of the Sponsor(s), has tampered with any entry, caused or contributed to causing any technical corruption in an attempt to compromise the integrity of the promotion.
l) Odds of winning are dependant on the number of eligible entries received.
m) This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. You are providing your information to KTVO and not to Facebook.
