KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- Tickets are now on sale for Curtain Call Theatre Company's most ambitious
production to-date, "Noises Off!" by Michael Frayn.
This perennial favorite will run Thurs, June 25, through Sat, June 27 at
7:00 p.m., and Sun, June 28, at 2:00 p.m. at the Baptist Student Union on
110 W. Normal St.
"We're constructing a two-story set, which is meant to be seen from both
the front AND the back during the performance," said director Phil
McIntosh. "The audience will actually go backstage for Act Two."
"Noises Off" is a riotous tour-de-force of slamming doors and zany
characters about a play-within-a-play. Each of the three acts contains a
performance of the first act of "Nothing On," a typical British sex comedy
with slamming doors and falling trousers. Then you - the audience - will go
backstage with the bickering actors and watch as they struggle in vain to
keep the production from falling apart. Directed by Phil McIntosh.
Tickets are now on sale at Edna Campbell's Bookstore on 105 W. Washington
St. Tickets are $10 General Admission and $7 for students and seniors. Due
to limited seating and high demand, it's recommended tickets be purchased
in advance.
