FAIRFIELD, IOWA -- Peter pan flew into the hearts of Fairfield theatre goers Saturday evening.
The musical Peter Pan, performed by the “Way Off Broadway,” has been showing in Farifield, Iowa.
KTVO went to the show to see if Tinker Bell’s fairy dust turned the Sondheim Center into a magical stage.
Just before the show we caught up with the executive director at the Sondheim Center, Randy West.
He told KTVO that although there are two professional performers from New York within the cast playing Peter Pan and Hook, the whole company seems to really have grasped the script and made the musical come to life in Fairfield.
"We did this whole show, it was a two and a half week rehearsal period, so to learn a show this big in two and a half to three weeks is very different than even a college program,” said Randy West, Executive Director.
There will be one last showing of the musical Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m.
