Nixon appoints new member to TSU Board of Governors

JEFFERSON CITY, MO. -- Missouri Governor Jay Nixon has appointed Michael J. LaBeth (R), of Kirksville, to the Truman State University Board of Governors. The board is the highest policy-making body of the university.

LaBeth is a broker and realtor with Heritage House Realty in Kirksville since 2004. He has served as president and vice president of the Kirksville Chamber of Commerce and as a board member of Kirksville Regional Economic Development Inc. LaBeth also has been active as a coach of youth sports teams. 

Nixon has appointed LaBeth for a term ending Jan. 1, 2019.
