ELDON, IOWA -- The 2013-2014 Iowa open enrollment application is now available.

Parents/Guardians considering the use of the open enrollment option to enroll their child/children in another public school district in the State of Iowa should be aware of the following dates:

*September 1, 2013 : Is the deadline for open enrollment requests for students entering kindergarten for the 2013-2014 school year.

*March 1, 2013: Will be the last date for regular open enrollment requests for the 2013-2014 school year. There may be "good cause" exception that may apply, you can contact the school if you need more information.

Open enrollment forms may be picked up in the District office in the district in which you reside or www.state.ia.us/educate/. Applications must be filed with both the receiving and sending districts.
