Scotland County Hospital, in Memphis, MO, is proud to announce the opening of its new outpatient Wound Care Clinic.  The Wound Care Clinic is designed to treat patients with chronic or slow healing wounds that have shown little or no signs of healing over the course of a month or two.

The clinic offers advanced treatments, where only traditional methods have previously been available.  The staff of medical professionals in the Wound Care Clinic has had extensive training in wound care and brings a comprehensive range of services to the community.

The goal of the Wound Care Clinic is to significantly increase the wound healing rate of patients and help the patients avoid unnecessary amputation.  The wound care team has had a tremendous success with an average healing rate of 85% while decreasing the time to heal.

The clinic is managed by Missouri Wound Care Specialists who has been in operation providing wound care services for over 5 years.  Amongst other services, the company provides a Registered Nurse board certified in wound care and has over 85 multi-specialty physicians affiliated with various outpatient clinics.

The Wound Care Clinic at Scotland County Hospital has two leading physicians, Jeff Davis, DO, board certified Family Medicine and Celeste Miller-Parish, DO, board certified in General Surgery.  The new Wound Care Clinic is located in the new Outpatient Services Center area, inside the hospital, and provides services to patients every Tuesday.
