The goal of the Wound Care Clinic is to significantly increase the wound healing rate of patients and help the patients avoid unnecessary amputation. The wound care team has had a tremendous success with an average healing rate of 85% while decreasing the time to heal.
The clinic is managed by Missouri Wound Care Specialists who has been in operation providing wound care services for over 5 years. Amongst other services, the company provides a Registered Nurse board certified in wound care and has over 85 multi-specialty physicians affiliated with various outpatient clinics.
The Wound Care Clinic at Scotland County Hospital has two leading physicians, Jeff Davis, DO, board certified Family Medicine and Celeste Miller-Parish, DO, board certified in General Surgery. The new Wound Care Clinic is located in the new Outpatient Services Center area, inside the hospital, and provides services to patients every Tuesday.
