HANNIBAL, MO. -- Motorists all over northeast Missouri need to watch for blowing and drifting snow along the highway this evening.  Winds are expected to continue throughout the evening, and while MoDOT crews are all out clearing the intermittent snow that is spread across the highway, the drifting returns withint 20 - 30 minutes.  These "drifts" are not necessarily visible, because they are flat on the road.  Drivers traveling at higher speeds may come upon these without any warning.  Please slow down and use extra caution while traveling tonight.  The roads with drifting are identified as "partly covered" on MoDOT's traveler information map at www.modot.org.
