Glenna Evonne Vande, 80, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Tuesday (February 5, 2013) at the University Missouri Hospital & Clinics in Columbia, Missouri.

The daughter of Kenneth Laverne and Moretha Faye (Hunsaker) Whittom, she was born July 30, 1932 in Kirksville, Missouri. Glenna was united in marriage to Harold Vande on May 20, 1950 in Kirksville, Missouri, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Glenna is survived by two sons, Jack Vande of St. Peter, MN and Michael Vande of Kansas City, MO; one daughter, Pamela Vande of Kirksville, MO, and one sister, Judi Rae of Kirksville, MO.

It was Glenna’s wish to be cremated and a memorial service to honor her life will be held at a later date at Hamilton Street Baptist Church in Kirksville.

Arrangements are being taken care of by Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.
