Donald Elsworth “Don” Pevehouse, 68 of Kirksville, MO passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at the Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO.

The son of Roscoe and Minnie (Peercy) Pevehouse, he was born on March 27, 1944 in Kirksville, Missouri. Don was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Robert and a sister in infancy.

Don is survived by several cousins, including Donald Cooper of Kirksville, MO and Donna Kistner of Quincy, IL.

Don was reared in Brashear, MO and attended Brashear Schools and he graduated from Brashear High School. He was employed at the Kirksville Floral working there till the shop closed. He owned and operated the Don’s Flowers for several years.  He last worked for the Bloosem Shop. He had a great passion for flowers.

Don was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Don’s wishes were to be cremated. A private interment will be at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home.
