Pearl served proudly in the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1963, when he was honorably discharged. Pearl spent the majority of his time stationed in France.

Pearl spent time helping on the family farm and as a coal miner before beginning his career with Florsheim Shoe Factory, where he was employed until retiring in 2002.

Pearl enjoyed fishing, watching westerns, bowling, spending time with family, doing yard work and “tinkering” in his garage. He was an active member of Fellowship Baptist Church, a devoted husband, father, friend and neighbor. His joy, sense of family, dependability and quick wit will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
