Jeanette Anderson, 78, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Friday (April 13, 2012) at the Moberly Nursing & Rehab under Hospice care. 

The daughter of Obert Carmie and Nita Faye (Shaw) Bradshaw, she was born March 31, 1934 in Hartford, Missouri. On June 28, 1954, Jeanette was married Linden Eitel and they were married twenty-seven years. On May 18, 1986, she married Don Anderson who preceded her in death. 

She was also preceded in death by her parents and one son, Gail Eitel. 

Jeanette is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Deanna Eitel of Milan, MO, Don and Tammy Eitel of Moberly, MO and Daren and Dora Eitel of Kirksville, MO; one brother and sister-in-law, Olen Gene and Sue Bradshaw of Camdenton, MO, as well as fourteen grandchildren, Brittney Eitel, Sierra Eitel, Destin Gregory, Josh Gregory, Kelsy Adams, Kayla Adams, Cody Eitel, Chris Eitel, Kelsey Eitel, Blake Eitel, Dakotah Eitel, Emily Eitel, Chase Riley and Ashley Riley. 

Jeanette received her education in the Hartford public school graduated from Kirksville High School and attended Kirksville State Teacher’s College where she received a Home Economics Degree. She taught Home Economics at the Meadville public school a number of years, worked for Area Agency for Aging several years and was last employed a number of years as a sales consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics until retiring. 

She was a member of the Hamilton Street Baptist Church of Kirksville. 

Public visitation will be held Monday (April 16, 2012) with family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville. 

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday (April 17, 2012) at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor Charles Jackson officiating. Music selections “Make the World go Away” and “One Day At A Time” will be provided by Brittney Eitel who will be accompanied by Dianthe Cable. Interment will follow the service at Hartford Cemetery in Hartford, Missouri. 

Pallbearers will be Chris Eitel, Cody Eitel, Dakotah Eitel, Chase Riley, Kelsey Eitel, Brittney Eitel, Blake Eitel and Emily Eitel.
