James Frank Snyder
1946 – 2009

James Frank Snyder, 63, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Tuesday (November 3, 2009) at the University Missouri Hospital & Clinics in Columbia.
 
The son of Frank and Irene M. (Goldsberry) Snyder, he was born May 15, 1946 in Rolla, Missouri.
 
James is survived by two sons, Thomas Snyder and Sammy Joe Snyder both of Kirksville, MO; one grandson, Thomas Snyder II and one granddaughter, Shyanna Snyder and his grandmother, Sam McFarland of Kirksville, MO. He is also survived by his fiancé, Stephanie McCartney and her children, John Ashley and David Woods.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents and one uncle, Wayne Goldsberry.
 
Jim was employed at Donaldson’s for many years until they closed and then owned and operated S & S Construction. In the later part of his life, Jim owned Snyder Construction and Management Company. He enjoyed his work and also loved fishing.
 
He will be missed dearly by his family.
 
Jim has been cremated and a graveside memorial service in his memory will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday (November 9, 2009) at Highland Park Cemetery in Kirksville.
 
Family will receive friends one hour Monday before the graveside service in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.
