I am truly proud to be a part of the KTVO family, working here in Southeast Iowa. There are so many untold human-interest stories which should be brought to light, and with your help, I would like to do that.

I attended Saint Louis University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a Certificate in Film Studies and Christian Intellectual Tradition. I then attended Webster University, graduating with a Master of Arts degree in Communications Management. While at SLU, I became a reporter at our college television station and then began work at KSDK NewsChannel 5 in St. Louis as an intern and Production Assistant. The experience that I attained there was invaluable. And so I send a special thank-you to all of my friends at KSDK!

Aside from work, I really enjoy watching classic movies on TCM (many dating back to the 1920s and 1930s) and first-rate television shows such as The Andy Griffith Show, I Love Lucy, and even The Twilight Zone. I also enjoy Easy Listening music by great artists like Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, and Andy Williams. My outdoors interests are mainly fishing and golfing (or lack thereof!). But most of all, I enjoy spending time with my family: my parents, my sister…and our lovable terrier-mix! And I cannot forget to mention my aunts, uncles, cousins and my grandma for all of their support.
