School: University of Missouri- Columbia
Hometown: Fort Lauderdale, Florida

I was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where I would always make my mom chase down the news vans on the way home from school. I followed my passion out to the Midwest for college where I attended the University of Missouri. I reported at the NBC affiliate in Columbia and then switched over to the CBS affiliate, KRCG. I was the station’s first online reporter, producing and anchoring their daily webcast. I also interned at WSVN-TV, the Fox affiliate in Miami, Florida.

I love chatting with people and I’m always looking for my next story, so drop me a line at bentin@ktvo.com if you have a story idea or just want to say hi. When I’m not working, you might find me taking a jog or hanging out at an airport taking pictures of planes- I’m an aviation nut! Human rights work is also very important to me. I worked at a rehabilitation center in Delhi, India in 2006 focused on removing children from child labor institutions.
