Teresa Carter Chief Meteorologist
tcarter@ktvo.com
School: Mississippi State Broadcast Meteorology Program Hometown: central Ohio
Kirksville reminds me a lot of the town that I grew up in. The people have welcomed me and are very friendly. The staff at KTVO-TV are wonderful to work with. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I became a meteorologist because I love the weather. I especially like storms and tornadoes. I am one of the crazy ones who would love the opportunity to be a storm chaser. I think tornadoes are extremely fascinating. I am happily married and have one child. In my spare time I like spending time with my family, reading mystery books, watching the weather channel and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Kirksville is a great place to work and start my career as a meteorologist.
