I was lucky enough to join KTVO in October of 2012, and am excited to begin my on-air career here!

I have my parents to thank for my passion for sports. As a young girl they allowed me to play any and everything I wanted. My favorite sport is basketball and growing up I always wanted to play in the NBA. For obvious reasons I knew I wouldn’t make the cut, so that’s when I looked to the sidelines. I couldn’t believe it was someone’s job to watch sports and then talk about them. That’s when I realized I wanted a job in sports broadcasting.

I studied Sports Broadcasting at Indiana University, so I am a diehard Hoosier fan. After graduating in 2010 I moved to Las Vegas where I worked as a play-by-play/color commentator for the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels working with radio legend Bob Blum. I also co-hosted a sports talk radio show on the weekends. After a year and some in Vegas I landed an internship with KSWB, Fox 5 San Diego. I attribute most of my sports broadcasting knowledge to my mentors here. It was a privilege to learn from the Fox 5 staff, I will forever be grateful for my experiences with them and the station.

I have played many different organized sports in my day from basketball, volleyball, softball, golf, tennis, and rugby and would love to try any and all other suggestions! My team’s of choice are obviously the Hoosiers, Pacers, and oddly enough the Jets. When I’m not working I love to cheer on my teams, play something myself, or hang out with friends and my dog Henry Rex Ryan.

If you have any suggestions on a good sports story, an outstanding athlete, or just want to say hi don’t hesitate to email me at krey@ktvo.com, I would love to hear from you!
